2 Chronicles 5:13-14
In unison when the trumpeters and the singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice accompanied by trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and when they praised the Lord saying, "He indeed is good for His loving kindness is everlasting," then the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.
Praise Choir
Passionate worship honors God and offers Him our highest admirations. As one body unified in spirit and with a heart of purity, the purpose of our Praise Choir is to glorify God and humbly serve Him. Our desire is to lead others into His divine presence through thanksgiving, praise and worship. If you have a passion and a desire to help lead our church in praise and worship, come join the Praise Choir! The Praise Choir is the core group who leads our worship. The Praise Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. No audition is required and child care is provided.
Y.A.H. Choir
Our Young at Heart (Y.A.H.) Choir not only connects our senior adults together in fellowship and companionship, it also ministers through song to our church and community. We meet each Thursday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for rehearsal and lead in worship several times throughout the year during our corporate services and in and around the community. If you are a senior but young at heart, come and join this exciting ministry.
Children's Choir
FBC Chiefland Children's Choir is filled with learning the scripture through singing, instruments, drama, and laughter. It is our desire to fill their hearts with songs of praise about the one who came to give His life for them. Jesus is taught, praised, and lived out, in, and through the Children's Choir. The Children's Choirs are divided into 3 different groups. Our Preschool Choir consists of 3-5 year olds, 1st-3rd grade comprise the Music Makers, and 4th & 5th grades comprise the Young Musicians. The Children’s Choirs meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. during the school year.
